REUBEN ROLL-UPS FOR TAILGATING

It has been hit or miss with us this year with doing our tailgate foods on football Sundays.  I did start with a TNT one from last year - Taco Crescents.  You can see that recipe here.  These are really good & I have been making them throughout the year, too.  And, the next one I'll be making - Pepperoni Squares - as I have all the ingredients on hand - check them out here.

But, I want to share a new one that I have tried recently -- REUBEN ROLL-UPS!!

REUBEN ROLL-UPS

1 tube crescent rolls
1/2 C. Thousand Island dressing
4 oz. Corned Beef
4 oz. Swiss Cheese
1 c. sauerkraut, drained well

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Get your crescent rolls ready.  On each (of the 8) crescent rolls put 1 T. Thousand Island dressing, 1/2 oz. Corned Beef, 1/2 oz. Swiss Cheese & 2 T. sauerkraut.  Roll them up & place on parchment lined cookie sheet.

Bake 13-15 minutes or til golden.

Make sure you have extra Thousand Island Dressing for dipping.

Here they are with the dressing on --

Next is the corned beef --

Swiss Cheese added --

And sauerkraut -

Roll & place on parchment lined cookie sheet --

All baked & ready to enjoy!!

Now, Lucy just loves this time of year & when I start to decorate (& take down) all these holiday decorations.  She has to sniff everything & closely inspect, when necessary.  Here she is during another holiday season (Easter)!
