Taco Salad

So easy and so good!!

Taco Salad

1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 head lettuce, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 small can chopped black olives
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned & drained
3 tomatoes, diced
3/4 c. Thousand Island dressing

Mix all together.  You can add more or less of any ingredient according to your taste.  Chill at least 3 hours.

You can add some crushed Taco Doritos to this right before serving -- but I have always served it without.  We always have it leftover and don't have soggy Doritos in it this way!

I have not blogged in a couple weeks and now am having trouble getting my photos from the Picasa album to the blog post.  Anyone else having these problems?

I have had such a depressing January that I haven't been able to get motivated to do any posts.  All this "putting away of Christmas decos" has really kicked my ____!  I am working on the last tree and have various other decos throughout the house to take down.  Putting everything on the couch right now as I will be needing at least 1 more tote.  I hope to have everything on the couch by the end of today!!!!  I want to put up my Valentine's so bad, but Mr. Cardigan has put his foot down and said not until the Christmas is put away.  Well, I am going to interpret that "put away" can also mean "putting on the couch until I get some totes"!!!!  Don't you agree??  Here's hoping that I will get in gear and doing more cooking/crafting/decorating and that my photos will upload easier, too!!!

While putting away some Snowbabies last week I discovered 1 Snowbaby that did not belong.  Can you pick out which one it is?

Lucy, Lucy Lucy!!!!!  I can't even believe you fit in there!!

I am linking this to Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollum.  You can find lot of other recipes here.
