Hash Brown Casserole

This is a little different as it calls for cream of potato soup.  So easy to make -

Hash Brown Casserole
2 lb. bag frozen hash browns
2 cans cream of potato soup
8 oz. sour cream
dash of garlic powder
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 C. milk
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
butter
shredded parmesan cheese

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl - except the butter and parmesan cheese.  Put in a 9 x 13 greased (I use Pam) baking dish.  Dot with pats of butter and then sprinkle some shredded parmesan cheese over the top.  Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour - uncovered.

All dumped in a bowl (except for the last 2 items) -

Mixed together -

Placed in baking dish -

Dotted with butter and sprinkled with parmesan cheese -

All cooked and ready to eat -

This makes a good amount so it is good to have for the holidays when family is around, to take to a potluck, and it is good reheated as leftovers.

Lucy has many favorite spots to sit/lay, but she has not been on the arm of the sofa for a while so I had to take a close up -
