A Spoon & A Recipe

I made these beaded spoons and attached a recipe for Corn Dip to give to my great friends at a gathering of our online Christmas group.  These gals came from all across our country.  I was lucky that it was held in Frankenmuth, MI this year.  You know the home of Bronner's - the world's largest Christmas store!!!

Back to my silverware!!

Some day I will do a tutorial on how I make my beaded silverware. It is hard for me to make them and take photos and I really don't think Mr. Cardigan would be a good help!!

Here is everything all ready to begin -

You can see that I already printed the recipe on cardstock (2 to a page then cut).  I have my red ribbon, scissors, and hole punch.  I then laid out the recipe - threaded the ribbon thru the hole - and tied the beaded spoon to it.

I love these Christmas beads.  I found them on sale at our regional craft store chain, Pat Catan's -

The recipe for the Corn Dip I found at one of my favorite blogs - Keeping up with the Joneses.

Many possibilities to match up recipes with a 'little something', don't you think?

I work in an assembly-line when I am making lots of one thing.  I gathered everything on the dining room table and when I was ready to start this is what I came back to --

It was beyond funny that Lucy was there already to watch - or help - or play with the ribbon!!!!
