Meanwhile, Rudolph (aka Lucy) is ready to guide Santa's sleigh --
As I always say -- it is not the Christmas season for me if I don't host my annual Cookie Exchange. I can't believe it has been 14 times!!! I must start planning something special for next year!!
Here are the cookies that we each get to take home -
They wouldn't all fit on the Christmas covered bed -
What do we do at the Cookie Exchange? We eat --
We visit & have fun --
And, we all take home one of each of these -
This year I made Nut Rolls for everyone -
I had them already to go in the freezer since the Cookie Exchange was a couple weeks before Christmas - in case anyone wanted to 'save' them -
Here they are before being wrapped. You could click here for the recipe -
We always take a group photo -
And a 'YaYa' photo -
Lucy was not too enthused with everyone here. She is used to a quieter home so she was not on her best behavior. She pretty much stayed under the tree and growled!!!! She didn't hide - she stood her ground as she is indeed the Queen!
We must start having more people over so she gets used to more company!!!!
