Tailgate Food - BBQ Chicken Dip

Another Sunday Browns game & another tailgate food -- this time a new recipe & it was delicious!!!

BBQ CHICKEN DIP

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 C. BBQ sauce
1/4 C. sour cream
3 green onions, chopped
3/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
3/4 C. shredded monterey jack cheese (divided)
1 1/2 C. chopped cooked chicken
Wheat Thin crackers (or crackers of your choice)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix cream cheese, BBQ sauce & sour cream together.  Add the green onions, and 1/2 cup of each of the cheeses & chopped chicken to this mixture.  Place in a small casserole dish sprayed with Pam (or some type of cooking spray).  Top with the remaining cheeses.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Serve with your choice of crackers.  I thought Wheat Thins were a good choice for this dip.

As with the rest of the tailgate foods I have been making -- this was great to take for lunches at work.  Just microwave for a bit and spoon on those Wheat Thins!!

We are putting the finishing touches on the Halloween decorations.  Lucy has been tolerating it all until this was brought to her attention.  Can you tell she is ignoring it?
