Peaches & Cream Bars
Bottom layer
1 C. butter, softened
2 C. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
Middle layer
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 - 21 oz. can peach pie filling
Top layer
1 C. powdered sugar
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9 x 13 dish with cooking spray.
Bottom layer -- Cream together the butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs & vanilla and beat well. In a separate bowl combine the flour and salt. Slowly add this to the butter mixture just until combined. Take half of this batter and spread into the bottom of the 9 x 13 pan.
Middle layer -- Beat the cream cheese & sugar together. Add the vanilla & egg and beat until combined. Spread evenly over the butter layer.
Spread the peach pie filling over this cream cheese layer. Drop the remaining half of the butter mixture over the pie filling. This will spread as it bakes.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let this cool completely before drizzling the glaze. After it has cooled, mix the powdered sugar, milk & vanilla and drizzle over the top,
This is just the best!!!! As you can see -- I loved it with vanilla ice cream!!!
