Dilled Chicken Pasta Salad

I love this!!!  I love dill - and I love chicken - so this is a win-win!!!

Dilled Chicken Pasta Salad

16 oz. pkg. seashell pasta, cooked according to directions
2 C. cooked chicken breast, cut into chunks
2 C. chopped tomatoes
1/2 C. diced celery
1/4 C. minced red onion (I just used a regular onion)
2 T. dried parsley flakes
1 T. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1 1/2 T. red wine vinegar
2 tsp. grated parmesan cheese
dashes of garlic powder
salt & pepper (dashes)
1 1/2 C. Miracle Whip salad dressing

Combine pasta and the next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.  Set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients (but not the Miracle Whip) in a small bowl - mixing well with a whisk.  Pour this mixture over the pasta mixture.  Then, add the Miracle Whip and mix well - gently.  Cover and chill for at least several hours.

If you want to use this more as a Main Dish (rather than a side salad) then you might want to add more chicken).

Here is a photo of the pasta -

With the chicken and vegetables added -

The spices and oil mixture -

Everything mixed together -

So so good!!!!

Love how Lucy is stretched across this blanket when she was still a kitten -

Looks yummy! Great Summer recipe. Maybe I'll make this over the weekend since it's in the 90's-perfect.

Delish! I love dill, too - I sprinkle way more than a liberal amount on anything I can! :) This is such a fun salad and the best part is, pasta salad is so versatile and can be changed up in so many ways. Love it!

This looks really good.

I found your site from Foodie Friday.

Your cat is precious. I had a cat that looked liked Lucy in the '90s.

I am going to host a link up on August 1 and will be open for several days. My post from Saturday gives more details, but I'm hoping people will link recipes, meal planning tips so that we can find things in one post for the month...meal planning made easy.
