This Football Season I have decided to make tailgate food each week. I'm a big Appetizer fan and think this will also help add some new recipes to bring to gatherings. Occasionally, we will have a tried & true one, too.
We cheer for the Cleveland Browns having lived all our lives in northern Ohio. We have been thru a lot with this team -- and one of these years.......
New front door decor for Game Day --
Our refrigerator has the schedules (with scores) for Ohio State University, Bowling Green State University (oldest grandson is a student there), and the Cleveland Browns.
Here's the first tailgate food of the season --
CRESCENT PIZZA ROLLS
8 oz. pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
4 - cheese sticks (string cheese), halved
small pkg. of sliced pepperoni
pizza sauce for dipping
Garlic Butter Glaze -
2 T. melted butter
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 T. grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
On each triangle of crescent roll dough - place about 6 pepperoni slices at the widest edge. Place the half of cheese stick on top. Roll up & place seam side down on parchment covered cookie sheet. Do this for all 8 crescents.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
While they are baking -- prepare the Garlic Butter Glaze. Combine all the glaze ingredients in a small bowl. When the pizza rolls have finished baking & removed from the oven - brush this glaze on each roll.
You can serve pizza sauce (or any other sauce you may prefer) on the side for dipping.
I originally 'pinned' this recipe from this
site.

I love taking pictures of Lucy sleeping. Sometimes she looks so uncomfortable or other times so cozy.
I mean it kind of looks cozy, but how can she breathe?
